This policy covers the pages published at knowbeforeyoulist.com — the pricing framework page, the net proceeds calculator, the sale-ready checklist, and the strategy report, estate, and divorce pages. It explains what is collected when you visit, what happens to it, and what you can do about it.
It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask and you will get a plain answer.
What you give us
Two places on this site ask you for anything:
- The email form on the framework page. If you request the Pricing Diagnostic Framework, you give us an email address. It goes to Follow Up Boss, the contact system used to send you the guide and the periodic market breakdown you are opted into at the same time. That opt-in is disclosed on the form itself, and every message carries an unsubscribe link.
- Booking a consultation. Bookings run through Calendly. What you enter there — typically a name, an email address, a phone number, and answers to any questions on the booking form — is held by Calendly and shared with us so the appointment can happen. Calendly's own privacy policy governs their handling of it.
If you reply to an email, send a text, or leave a voicemail, that message is kept as part of the ordinary record of working together.
What the interactive tools do not send anywhere. The net proceeds calculator and the sale-ready checklist run entirely inside your browser. The figures and answers you enter are never transmitted to us, to a server, or to any third party — close the tab and they are gone. Nothing on those pages requires an email address to use.
What is collected automatically
Like most sites, this one collects some technical information as you browse, and uses cookies and similar technologies to do it:
- Analytics. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager record which pages are visited, roughly where visitors arrive from, and which buttons get clicked. Microsoft Clarity may be used to understand how pages are actually used — scrolling, clicks, and where people get stuck.
- Advertising. The Meta Pixel records that a browser visited these pages, which allows advertisements to be shown later on Facebook and Instagram to people who have been here. This is the mechanism behind any ad you may see from us after visiting.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server records including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Typefaces. Fonts load from Google Fonts and Fontshare, which receive a request from your browser in order to serve them.
Housing-related advertising is subject to additional restrictions, and ads for these services run under those rules. Advertising audiences here are built on site activity only — pages visited, links clicked. They are never built on, or narrowed by, any protected characteristic.
What is not done with it
Your information is not sold. It is not rented, traded, or handed to a data broker. It is not passed to another agent or to a lead-buying service.
It is shared only with the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf so the site and the follow-up work at all, and with anyone we are legally required to give it to.
How long it is kept
Contact information stays in Follow Up Boss until you ask for it to be removed. Analytics and advertising records expire on the schedules those platforms set — advertising audiences in particular roll off automatically after a limited window and are not retained indefinitely.
Your choices
- Email. Every message has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and the sending stops. Anything already sent to you stays yours.
- Advertising. You can limit or turn off personalized ads directly in your Google account settings and in your Facebook ad preferences. Those controls apply across every advertiser, not only this one.
- Cookies. Every major browser can block or clear cookies, and several block advertising and analytics scripts outright. Doing so does not affect your ability to read anything here or to book a consultation.
- Deletion. Email peter@askpeterlee.com and ask to be removed. You do not need to give a reason, and it will be handled promptly.
Security
Information submitted through this site travels over an encrypted connection, and the services named above maintain their own safeguards. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, and any claim otherwise would be worth distrusting.
Minors
This site is intended for adults considering the sale of real property. It is not directed to minors, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13. If you believe that has happened, email the address above and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes to how information is used will be flagged rather than made quietly.
